Q: How does it work? Is this like an online community, or like a course, or a coaching program, or what?
A: All of the above! The Changemaker Accelerator is a membership community designed to guide and support you while fast-tracking your efforts to build. Here’s how it works:
- Community: The foundation is our online community – a group of changemakers who, like you, are starting or building early stage nonprofits. Through this community, you’ll have ongoing access to discussions, connections and peer networking, and support from your peers.
- Customizable Docs and Guides: You’ll have access to a library of special guides and templates, created for organizations in start-up or growth phases – we’re talking policy templates, fundraising plans, and more. And that library of tools will grow each month as more are added.
- Expert support: Each month we’ll do a LIVE Q&A with myself or another expert based on members’ requested topics. (Nonprofit compliance?! Accounting?! Fundraising?!)
- Bonus content: Finally, as a member, you’ll have access to exclusive training modules and content on specific topics to propel you forward.
Q: How do I know the Changemaker Accelerator Membership is right for me at our current stage?
A: Great question! Leaders / organizations who fit the following are going to get the MOST value out of the membership:
- You’re launching or growing a nonprofit and are struggling with challenges in revenue, operations, marketing, and / or program development and evaluation (AKA, your impact model – how you know your org is making a genuine impact).

Q: Do I need special training or existing knowledge to get something out of the Membership?
A: Nope! One of my superpowers is breaking things down into bite-sized pieces and making it easy to digest.
You don’t need previous nonprofit training or experience to get started (or to grow if you’ve already past the first steps). And, if you already have some experience, we’ll use that foundation as your jumping off point!
I know what it’s like for all this to feel like a lot.
I’m not going to throw everything at you at once either – you’ll get access to new tools and educational opportunities each month in a super digestible format.
Plus, as a member, your feedback will help shape the types of resources that are provided in the future – it’s a group built FOR you!

- Due by November 12: The Max and Victoria Dreyfus Foundation provides small grants (range: $1,000-$20,000) to community-based nonprofits in the USA in areas such as museums, schools, education, environment, programs for youth, seniors, or persons with disabilities.
- ICYMI: Due by November 29: The Centene Charitable Foundation provides funding (ranging $300-$500,000) to nonprofits tackling healthcare access, social services, and education in communities where the company operates.
- Due by December 31: The GEICO Philanthropic Foundation supports nonprofits in the USA tackling education, literacy, hunger, environment, animal welfare, equity, and other issues.
